About

I was born and raised in Buenos Aires. There I was able to study with Carlos Lazari and work with him at the orchestra "Los solistas de D'Arienzo". I was lucky enough to participate in the "Color Tango" orchestra conducted by Roberto Alvarez, where former musicians from Osvaldo Pugliese’s orchestra were also part. I was founder, composer and arranger of "La camorra“ quintet. We recorded 6 CDs and toured through many countries in more than 20 years with this group.

As I moved to Switzerland I started there my own tango quintet and the guitar and bandoneon project: "Jungman & Sancho".

As a soloist, I was invited by the "Orquesta de Cámara de la Plata“,"Camerata Bern", "Stringendo" and the "Berner Symphonieorchester", among other orchestras.

I have been teaching bandoneon for more than 20 years. With the material that I wrote for my students, I developed in 2003 the multimedia method called "Don Benito". Nowadays I'm teaching at "Musikschule Zug".

I have just presented my CD "Handwritten letters", for bandoneon solo, based only on my own compositions. I'm working on a forthcoming CD with works by Astor Piazzolla and a new Opera-Tango, together with the playwright Miguel Kot Gorodeky.
